We here at the book store wish to thank you all for you support this past season….without it of course the book store would have been history long ago…. again this summer will be out buying interesting books for the store….The Title Co. will close on Sunday June 25th and will re-open on Sept 1st…

The new hours of the store will be 9 A.M. until 3 P.M. and will be closed every Monday……..

BOOK EXCHANGE POLICY…..

We have had the very same policy regarding book exchanges (Trade-In’s) since we opened some 6 years ago but from time to time we need to clear up some questions…..the program is one designed to not only save you some money but also keep a steady flow of books into the store. We cannot give the proper credit to books which are simply dropped off either in the store or on the balcony without a name/date and phone number attached…….this is due to the very limited amount space we have available in the store…..on the other hand if you drop off books and your name/date and phone number (if available) is attached, we will credit you with the books we can use and keep the others for you to pick-up within SEVEN DAYS…after seven days those books will be ‘eliminated’ by the book ‘dragon’………

These are the rules as set by the “Book Lady” and as she has often said…..

“REMEMBER RESPONSIBLE READERS DO NOT SNIVEL”

1. Books must have front/back cover and bindings intact….

2. No books that we already have multiple copies of either on the shelves or in reserve (check with us).

3. No Romances or Hardbacks (exceptions are Baja Books and books in Espanol..and other books of note….check with us.)

4. Books purchased here are not automatically accepted back in trade since some titles we have multiple copies…..

5. When we accept 2 books you may purchase 1 book at ½ our sticker price……i.e. mass market paperbacks for mass market…..trade size for trade size……..

6. Credits apply to all categories of books except New Books and Classics.

7. We do purchase some books on the Baja and books in Espanol….

Our aim is to please you and if there are any questions regarding the above please ask Catalina or myself and we will be happy to explain the policy in more detail.

To clear up a question often asked here regarding the pricing of new Baja books….

Unless on sale all Baja Books are sold at cover price determined by the publisher….

In the case of an author who self publishes his/her book the author sets the price.

The San Felipe Title Company (the book store) is open from 9 A.M. till 3 P.M.
